ASUS most likely to feature NVidia Tegra for its Eee Pad

If we say that Asus mostly relies on Intel Atom processor for its netbooks then it won’t be wrong but now Asus is flourishing its limitations and boundaries by adopting NVIDIA’s Tegra chips instead of going for Intel processor. The updated version of Eee pad is bruited to be powered by NVidia Tegra, and will have a 7-inch screen which can display 720p HD content by default, and 1080p content if the laptop comes with NVidia hardware.

asusThis Eee pad will feature a multitouch display, which requires an OS like Windows 7 or Android OS designed to work with such displays. Google’s Chrome OS and Jolicloud are also among the options to be considered but we have to wait atleast till March 2010 (the expected time for its launch) to know what option ASUS will take, but whatever they do, this device is likely to become a huge hit.
