The Boxee Box By D-Link

D-Link has just announced a TV Box namely The Boxee Box which can entertain you on your desktop or laptop through its free and open source downloadable software. This Boxee Box streams online and stored media to an HDTV. Boxe Box allows you to share your media online with your friends via social networks of Facebook and Twitter. This device also permits you to access the university courses, panel discussions, academic lectures, presentations and web-only videos.
Besides video substance you can also explore the pictures from sites like Google Picassa, Facbook and Flickr and can get entertained from music from the sites like Pandora, shoutcast etc. The other features include HDMI, Optical Digital Audio (S/PDIF), Composite, Ethernet Connector, 2 USB 2.0 ports, and an SD Card slot.
