Detroit Car Show 2010 beats 2009 Show

The Detroit Auto Show 2009 unluckily wasn’t a great success and disappointed car freaks in different dimensions. The 2009’s show failure was because of mixed bag of sour grapes, ranging from the number of automakers who either gave a goodbye kiss and relinquished the show or coldn’t introduce something new which caused the attendance to get down.

Though the 2009 show couldn’t marked a golden star but this year’s Detroit Car Show was a great success and the reason of the success was definitely the automakers who showcased new vehicles and new concepts which couldn’t resist the car freaks to attend the 2010’s Detroit Car Show that lasted from January 16th to January 24th.

The Detroit News reports that about 715,000 people including men, women and children paid $12 to see the new cars and concepts and this attendance figure crossed the last year’s attendance in 65,000 plus. The automakers who brought in the new cars and concepts and above all the good weather conditions in Detroit made this year’s car show a big hit.
