Chevrolet Introduces Volt an Electric Car

Chevrolet a subsidiary of General Motors (GM) gave a concept of a car which can run by electric charge almost 3 years ago and now the time of effectuation has come. Chevrolet is working on Volt which is an electric car. First Chevrolet Volt was considered to be a plug-in hybrid but in a recent GM’s media event Bob Ltuz made it clear that Chevy Volt won’t be a plug-in hybrid rather it will be an extended-range electric vehicle (E-REV).
GM wants to be the pioneer in electric cars and thus wants to launch Chevy Volt before any other rival does so.
