HTC HD2 launching on T-Mobile

C n’ G was having its ears on the rumors that the HTC HD2 is all set to launch on T-Mobile sometime in March but now Laptop Magazine has made us sure that its not a rumor anymore. The source reports that a T-Mobile’s right hand source has confirmed that the actual launch date of HTC HD2 on T-Mobile is 24th March.

The source also claims that the phone will be available for $199 on a two-year contract (or $449 off-contract) and will run on Windows Mobile 6.5. Laptop Magazine has also stated that the phone won’t be supporting Windows Phone 7 Series. Well March 24th is not way far, we hope we will be having some great stuff

Four new Vostro laptops from Dell

Dell has modified its range of Vostro laptop by adding four new laptops modeled as the Dell Vostro 3300, 3400, 3500, and 3700. These four new laptops come in an aluminum frame in the color range of 3 choices of golden brown, red and stone silver. The Dell Vostro 3300, Vostro 3400, 3500 come with a 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 15.6-inch LED backlit display, respectively.

These laptops are powered by an Intel Core i3/i5 processor with up to 8GB DDR3 memory, a 500GB hard drive, a 512MB nVidia Geforce 310M graphics, a DVD burner, a 2.0MP webcam, a fingerprint reader and Windows 7. Meanwhile, the Vostro 3700 is a true desktop replacement notebook with a 17.3-inch display. This high-end version uses Intel’s Core i7 quad-core processor and a 1GB nVidia Geforce GT330M graphics. The Vostro 3300, Vostro 3400, Vostro 3500, and Vostro 3700 retail for $669, $649, 649 and $679, respectively.

Apple announces release date of iPad for US markets

The release date of WiFi version of iPad has officially announced by Apple. The Wi-Fi version of the Apple iPad will be landing at America on April 3rd, 2010. The release of Apple iPAd in US is indeed a good news for the people of US but sadly on the other hand the Wi-Fi + 3G edition still has no specific US release date other than “late April”.

If you are getting crazy for your iPad, you can book your order for both models at Apple’s online store from March 12, 2010, but only the Wi-Fi model can be reserved and picked up in store. The Wi-Fi model will retail at a suggested price of $499 for the 16GB model, $599 for the 32GB and $699 for the 64GB. The Wi-Fi + 3G models will be available at a suggested retail price of $629 for the 16GB model, $729 for the 32GB and $829 for the 64GB.

Aston Martin introduces special edition V12 Vantage

Aston Martin lionizing the win of V12 Vantage has brought in a very newfangled Carbon Black version at Geneva Auto Show. This young V12 Vantage Carbon Black Edition shows off an exclusively developed Carbon Black metallic paint with each car undergoing 50 man-hours of hand painting to accomplish the car’s ample rich finish.

The iconic Aston Martin side strake has been forged from carbon fiber endorsed by a black mesh and complimented with gloss black 10 spoke diamond turned alloy wheels. A bright finished grille and front parking sensors (normally an option) complete the exterior detailing. Each Carbon Black is conferred with a carbon fiber sill plaque etched with V12 Vantage Carbon Black in stainless steel.

Porsche 918 Spyder Concept got unwrapped at Geneva Auto Show

During an exclusive pre-show event at Geneva Auto Show the Porsche’s President and CEO Michael Macht unwrapped the very new super sports concept car “918 Spyder”. This 918 Spyder concept is a low emissions plug-in hybrid with a split personality. On the ecological side it is capable of 3.0 litres/100 kilometers (94 mpg imp / 78 mpg US) with just 70 grams of CO2 emissions per kilometer. However, on the performance side, it’s driven by a V8 producing more than 368 kW (500 PS / 493 hp) plus three electric motors putting out 160 kW (218 PS / 215 hp). That gives the two-seater a combined power output of 528 kW (718 PS / 708 hp) resulting in a 0 to 100 km/h sprint in just 3.2 seconds, top speed of 320 km/h (198 mph), and a lap time on the Nurburgring Nordschleife in less than 7:30 minutes, which is faster than the Porsche Carrera GT.

The 918 Spyder concept has a liquid cooled lithium-ion battery, brake energy regeneration, push-to-pass “E-Boost” button for sudden overtaking maneuvers, and four driving modes. They are: E-Drive mode for electric only powered driving; Hybrid mode, which uses both the electric motors and the V8 engine relative to driving conditions; Sport Hybrid mode uses both drive systems, but with the focus on performance; and Race Hybrid mode for hardcore performance running at the limit.

A seven-speed Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) transmission transmists power to the wheels that feeds the power of the electric drive system to the rear axle. The front-wheel electric drive powers the wheels through a fixed transmission ratio.

AutoMD, an absolute and frontal online auto repair resource, has released its Advocacy for Repair Shop Fairness Report, which is giving light on how the top-50 most populated U.S. cities fender-bender the customers and clients when it comes to providing them with fair auto repair cost estimates. In the report, we got to gather some out of the blue results.
