£300 millions budget has been approved by the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown for a very new, noble and great cause that of providing the low income families and the other poor and deserving families in Britain with 270,000 free laptops and broadband access. The purpose of PM’s this campaign is to bestow a chance to the students of poor families to show a good progress in their studies.
In an international education forum in Westminster PM Brown said that “We want every family to become a broadband family, and we want every home linked to a school. For those finding it difficult to afford this, today I am announcing the nationwide roll-out of our home access programme to get laptops and broadband at home for 270,000 families.”
