Skiff in chemistry with Sprint in the labs of e-bok readers has experimented to introduce a new flexible, thin and large screen e-Book reader namely ‘Skiff Reader’ at this week’s CES. This new e-book reader measures about a quarter of an inch thick, and has as large as 11.5-inch 1200 x 1600 ‘Metal Foil’ touchscreen display with a built-in memory of 4GB, a microSD card slot, a miniUSB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack.

This new e-book readers also furnishes the users with the WiFi and 3G connectivity via Sprint operator. This thin device runs with a reachargeable lithium battery which after the charging time of 3hours gives upto one week charge life on average (thousands of page turns with periodic wireless use). About price tag and date of availiblity we still have to wait.
