The BRP-US6 Portablle 6x Blu-ray Disc Burner
Japanese company I-O Data has just unveiled their most up-to-date external Blu-ray burner, the BRP-US6, which links up to a notebook via a USB 2.0 interface. The fulgent characteristics of this burner take in reading and writing on blu-ray discs, 6x burning for BD-R SL, 2x for BD-R DL/BD-RE and 6x reading with BD-ROM discs.
The drive can also burn on DVD-R/+R at 8x, 6x on DVD-RW/+RW and 5x on DVD-RAM discs. The size of this BRP-US6 is 137mm x 154mm x 20mm and is weighs about 330grams, the BRP-US6 is going to be available in markets of Japan by the mid of this month at a price of about JPY 29,600 ($340.50).
